Samples (Part 3):

A Web quest is an inquiry based lesson in which a group of students complete an overall task using Internet resources.  Each student has a specific role in their group.  This type of lesson promotes higher order thinking.  For example, as a culminating activity, students may have to design and produce a new product or write a persuasive paper that explains how to solve a problem.  Typically, a Web quest includes the following parts:  an introduction, description of the task, a process for completing the task, resources, an evaluation, and a conclusion.
