You might not see any animals at first, but if you look carefully, you'll find them everywhere. Are you ready to begin your adventure?

Enter the forest

2. Now that you've seen some of the animals who live in this habitat, you will learn more about two different animals you like. Write down interesting facts about each of the animals you pick on your note-taking paper. Use these Web sites to find your information:

Animals of the Woodlands - lists many animals who make their home in the forest.

Forest Animals - Click the link that says "Temperate Deciduous Forest Animals"

Animals - in Spanish -not all of these animals live in forests, but some do.

3. Now you are ready to share the fun animal facts that you learned with your classmates. You can make a poster, a brochure, or a slide show about your animals to show the rest of your class. Then, your classmates will teach you about the animals they studied. You will learn how animals in the forest depend on each other and their environment in order to live. Have fun!
