The following activities are to encourage you
to learn unknown facts about the "common house hold fly". You will
learn the parts of the fly as well as habits the fly may have. This
is to let you have fun while learning. Enjoy your new discoveries
about the fly!!!

Activity:
The teacher will print out
the attached link and you can color your own house fly. Try to notice
the different parts of the fly. Can you find his many eyes, or his
wings? Where are the antennaes?
Now that you know the characteristics and body
parts of a fly you are ready to discover more about the wonderful world
of flies. You have had the opportunity to get a worksheet of a fly
up-close for you to color. Look at the picture carefully. You
may see a fly upclose in later dates.
