Follow  me into the web for a plant adventure!  Have you ever wondered what makes your favorite gum chewy?  Do you know what kind of plant you ate last night?  Here is your chance to learn about all these things and more!  Let's surf the web and learn together!

                one country where the tree can be found?

USDA, Farm Service Agency, Colorsheet and Crafts

      Directions:
            1.  Print out coloring sheet.
            2.  Color and label plants.
                 Example:  Label as seed, leaf, root, flower, or
                 fruit.
            3.  On the back of the coloring sheet, write a short
                 paragraph what you have learned.

CONCLUSION

Your plant adventure is now over.  You have had the opportunity to explore many uses for plants.  Through this brief experience you now have the ability to educate your family and peers.  Next time you chew gum, don't be surprised if you wondered what kind of tree it was made from or the next time your are eating dinner with your family you will be able to tell them what kinds of plants they are eating.
