Our Staff Continues to Grow!

McAndrew has a Vice-Principal!  Vicki Kilpatrick, currently the V.P. at Steubing Elementary in NISD, has been appointed to McAndrew!  Prior to becoming an administrator, Mrs. Kilpatrick taught first, second and third grade at three distinctly different Northside campuses.  She moved into a reading specialist position and served at two separate campuses.  Mrs. Kilpatrick acquired an administrative intern position followed by an appointment to the Vice-Principal position she currently holds.  She has diverse experience and will be an asset to McAndrew.

Michelle (Shelli) Cargill is McAndrew's special education teacher and will also serve as the campus coordinator.  She is currently working in NISD at Northside Children's Center and has experience working with all elementary grade levels.  She is highly trained and skilled at working with students with diverse needs.  Her experience will allow her to effectively support the students, teachers and parents at McAndrew!  We are fortunate to have her as a Highlander!

Arlene Jacob is the new Gifted and Talented teacher at McAndrew.  She taught in another district before coming to NISD where she taught first and third grade.  Arlene became the GT teacher at Raba and then moved into the Campus Instructional Technologist position where she served the Wanke and Westwood Terrace students.  One benefit for McAndrew is that we are not only getting a GT teacher, but someone who is highly trained and skilled in technology!  She is motivated to work alongside our CIT to ensure that the McAndrew students are highly challenged; Two for the price of one!
