Mrs. Ellis was born and raised in San Antonio.She is fluent in Spanish.She is married, and has a daughter and a son.She has a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's degree in Educational Psychology with school counselor certification from the University of Texas in San Antonio.This year will be her twelfth year as a counselor.She will be working with Kinder, 2nd and 4th grades this year.This is her ninth year at McDermott Elementary.She loves working with people - especially children!She invites you to visit her and see our campus. |
Mrs.Myers has been at McDermott since it opened in 1992. This year she is working with Pre-Kinder, 1st, 3rd and 5th grades. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology - Counseling and Guidance from, UTSA. She has specialized training in therapeutic art and play techniques, conflict resolution and Parenting with Love and Logic.She has also co-authored the book Art Connections in CounselingHer conference times vary, but she welcomes visits from parents.
