The Northside Alternative High School has partnered with some amazing businesses in our local area to help support the academic successes of our students. The NAHS faculty and staff would like to thank 54th Street Bar & Grill, Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, Pericos restaurant, and the San Antonio Rampage. NAHS has also received support from UTSA and Texas A&M University.
Each of these establishments has supplied the NAHS staff and student body with merchandise ranging from coupons for free donuts, gift cards, to team memorabilia. Thank you for your support!
Semester exams are right around the corner! When students return from the Winter Break on January 5th, they will begin reviewing for semester exams. All semester exams will be given the week of January 12th - 16th. Unlike the comprehensive campuses, the NAHS will not have a modified schedule. All exams will take place within the regular time allotted for classes. This means that it is extrememlty important for students to attend each day when returning from break.
Daily attendance enables students to receive all of the review material so they will be successful on their exams. Daily attendance also helps to avoid receiving a grade designation of Incomplete for the semester. If a student has any questions about their semester exams, they are encouraged to have a conversation with their teacher or the school counselor.
