Interested in going to college but not sure how to pay for it? The Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) is the first place all students interested in enrolling and attending either a 2-year or 4-year college. To help students complete filling out the complicated federal and state forms, Student Aid San Antonio is hosting 13 weekends from January through May to provide one-on-one help filling out these FREE forms. The Violence Prevention Program included of a variety of guest speakers who delivered important messages to our students. The VP class consisted of 27 students. Teachers and our school counselor provided input in the selection of students for this class. Students who successfully participated in the program received a Certificate of Completion. NAHS students gave back to the community by participating in the Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign sponsored by the American Red Cross. On November 22, students came together and hand crafted holiday cards for military families. Each student also wrote a personal note of thanks inside each card. Over 180 cards were created!
