Computer Literacy

I began my career with Northside in 1978. I have been teaching Technical Applications for 18 years. In 2003 I completed a Masters Degree in Curriculumn & Instuction with an Instructional Technology Certificate from Houston Baptist through the PAVE Program. I arrived at NAMS-North in 2004. My goal of Instructional Technology is to enable all students to learn to their fullest potential. I feel that a Computer Technology teacher is a facilitator, guide and learner. I have very much enjoyed teaching and learning from my students. We are working hard at NAMS-North to reach our goal of helping the students be better prepared to make a contribution to society.

Computer Technology Facilitator

I feel very lucky to work at NAMS-North. I assist the Administration with the curriculum/technology integration needs at the campus to achieve integration. I also assist teachers in integrating technology tools that support content objectives in all content areas. In addition to teaching my classes I am the webmaster for NAMS-North and provide minimal technical support to the campus.
