My name is Stacey Sylman. I am an Air Force brat. I was born in Tokyo, Japan, but have spent most of my life in San Antonio. I have four brothers and two sisters. I went to Winston Elementary, Pease Middle School, and graduated from Holmes High School. I started my nursing career in the hospital in the maternal-child health area, but worked several other areas as well. I married a soldier, so I have worked as a nurse out of state, even out of country. Somehow, I ended up in School Nursing. I have worked as a School Nurse in the elementary, middle school, high school, and collegiate level. I have two kids myself (they attend NISD schools), a 13 year old and a 7 year old. I really do enjoy working with kids. Their perspective on life is hilarious and hopeful.
