Who?
Northside Education Foundation Grants are available to any Northside ISD employee. Northside Education Foundation competitive grants are awarded to fund innovative projects or programs. In its history, the foundation has awarded TEAM grants of up to $10,000, mini grants of up to $500 and innovation grants of up to $1,000 for programs ranging from technology for elementary publishing programs to leadership development in secondary school clubs and organizations.

Download the instructions to apply for the TEAM grant below. For the mini and innovative grants, complete the online application before the application deadline. If writing or technical assistance is needed while completing the online application, please contact the Grants & Recognitions Department at 397-8563.

Requirements
  • By entering the principal or department head's contact information on the application, you are certifying their approval. Approval of the principal (schools) or department head (district level) is required.
  • As of 2000-01, all technology grants (computer software, hardware & equipment) must receive CIT approval in addition to principal / head of department. By entering the CIT's contact information on the application, you are certifying their approval.
  • Format: Download the instructions to apply for the TEAM grant below. For the mini and innovative grants, complete the online application before the deadline.
  • Budget: If over the maximum grant amount, specify other funding sources for the project.
  • Proofread: Does it make sense to someone who does not know about your project/program?
  • Attachments: Attachments cannot be submitted.
  • Individuals are only permitted to submit one grant application per cycle.
  • All Applications must be submitted through the Online Grant Application System, except for TEAM grants.
  • Applicants will be notified of award receipt approximately four weeks after application due date. For further information regarding award status, contact the Partnerships Department at 397-8599.
