Northside ISD will graduate more than 4,200 students this coming month. The graduation dates are later than normal due to a new state mandate requiring all Texas public schools to adopt a uniform schedule.

Teachers get laptops at new schools
In an exciting new pilot project, teachers at three of the District's newest schools, Brandeis High School, Vale Middle School, and Forester Elementary School, will receive wireless laptops instead of traditional desktop computers when these schools open in August 2008.

Northside's annual Kindergarten Round-Up will be held the week of April 7 to give next year's kindergarten students and their parents an opportunity to pre-register for school, meet teachers, and tour classrooms, and to ensure there is a space for the child at the neighborhood school.
Pre-Kindergarten registration begins June 30
Registration for students who are eligible for Northside's pre-kindergarten program will be held June 30 - July 3 and July 7 - 10.
