The purpose of the National German Examination is to recognize achievement in the study of the German language, and to promote proficiency in the German language. This examination is administered each year to more than 26,000 students in the United States. Three students from Brandeis High School scored above 90 percent on this difficult examination. They were the only students from San Antonio to achieve this accomplishment.
