Northside ISD is hiring 80 bus drivers and is holding a Transportation Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 at the McClung Transportation Station, 14171 Old FM 471, San Antonio, TX 78253.

Starting pay is $11.54 per hour, and benefits include medical insurance, retirement, paid training, and 10 paid holidays.

Interviews will be conducted on-site at the job fair for persons who have completed their online job application.

Minimum qualifications include:

• 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• No record of DWI or convictions for the past 10 years and acceptable driving record according to the Texas Department of Public Safety standards

• Completed online job application (computers available to applicants on-site)

Candidates also must pass a physical examination, drug test, and criminal background check.
