Public hearing scheduled for Brandeis High School attendance zone
NISD Communications Department
July 31, 2007
The School Boundary Advisory Committee (SBAC) will hold a public hearing to gather input about the proposed attendance zone for Brandeis High School and other associated high school boundary changes. The public hearing will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 10, 2007, in the Marshall High School auditorium, 8000 Lobo Lane.

Brandeis High School, located near Stinson Middle School at 13011 Kyle Seale Parkway, will open in August 2008.

Families who potentially will be affected by the boundary changes are encouraged to attend the public hearing to gather more information, ask questions, and make comments. The boundaries for Clark, Marshall, O'Connor, and Taft could be affected by the proposed plan.

Members of the SBAC are parents who represent schools throughout the District. They will make a recommendation to the Board of Trustees, which ultimately will approve the attendance boundaries for Brandeis High School.

For a complete list of neighborhoods that could be potentially affected and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit the proposed boundary web site.
