Students, staff, parents, and community members are invited to join an open discussion of the decisions facing the state Legislature regarding education funding and high-stakes testing scheduled for Friday, Feb. 8.

The meeting will be held at the Northside Activity Center, 7001 Culebra Road from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Speakers include State Rep. Mike Villarreal, students and parents, and a panel of education leaders. The event, which is in preparation for the Save Our Schools Rally to be held in Austin on Feb. 23, is sponsored by Save Texas Schools.
