February 6 was National Signing Day across the United States, and 45 Northside ISD student athletes signed Letters of Intent to play in their sport of choice at the post-secondary level.
“Being given the opportunity to play at the collegiate level says a lot about their athletic talents,” said Stanley Laing, executive director of Athletics for NISD. “More importantly, their ability to put the many extra hours in to compete at the highest level in high school, as well as showing the ability to be successful in the classroom and on the playing field is a testament to why they are so successful.”
“I’m sure each of these student athletes would express a great deal of gratitude for their teachers and coaches that helped them accomplish their dreams.
