The Friends of Northside ISD Libraries invite you to their annual event, Story Fest '09, at the
John Marshall High School Library, 8000 Lobo Lane, on Saturday, January 24, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Readers and library supporters of all ages can enjoy exceptional storytelling by members of the San Antonio Storytellers Association, meet local authors, and participate in family and literacy activities. Renowned author Rick Riordan, of the popular upper elementary/middle school Percy Jackson series, will present in the Marshall auditorium at 1:30, autographing books afterwards.
Storytelling events start at 2:30 at various locations around the school. Learn how to become a Friend and support libraries and literacy in Northside, all while enjoying fantastic family entertainment!
Due to limited space in the auditorium for author, Rick Riordan, the first 558 people in line will receive a ticket, starting at 12 noon. One ticket per person, doors will open at 1:00 p.m. with his presentation starting at 1:30.
