Northside Board of Trustees election ballot is set

Six candidates are running for three open seats on the Northside Board of Trustees. Election Day is May 9 and early voting is April 27-May 5.

In District 6, candidates are:

• Randall H. (Randy) Fields, incumbent trustee and financial advisor
• Miguel A. Aguilar, area manager
• Lorena Gonzalez, educational consultant

District 7 candidates are:

• Karen Bonaccorso Freeman, incumbent trustee and marketing/public relations director
• Ray Tamayo, teacher

Incumbent Trustee Katie Reed was the only candidate to file for the District 5 seat. The election for this seat will be canceled.
