Leon Springs' Hemann is Texas AP of the year

Blanca Hemann, assistant principal at Leon Springs ES, is the 2009 Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) Assistant Principal of the Year. Hemann, a former NISD Educator of the Year, has presented sessions at the TEPSA Summer Conference. She has worked at the Education Service Center, facilitated New Teacher Academies, directed summer school programs, received grant awards, and presented staff development sessions for TAKS preparation. She will be recognized during TEPSA Summer Conference.
