Four hundred employees were honored Wednesday night for their longtime service to education and Northside ISD.
Altogether, the honorees represented more than 9,400 years of service to the children of Northside ISD.
At the special ceremony, held at Brandeis High School, those recognized included this year’s retirees and employees with 20, 30, 35, and 40 years of service.
Among this years retirees are James Buchanan, the principal at Communications Arts High School; Sharon Browne, the principal at Lewis Elementary School; and Kay Montgomery, the principal at May Elementary School.
