Recognition of Texas State German Competition winners

More than 1,500 students from more than 90 schools competed this year in the Texas State German Competition. The state contest, hosted by the University of Texas at Austin in February, is the culminating German language event for the three regional competitions. The contest includes events in academics, cultural, and performance categories. This makes the Texas system of German contests the largest in the nation and the only one of its kind. NISD student winners included:
