Leon Valley Student Council holds installation ceremony

The Leon Valley Student Council held its installation of officers and representatives in the Lion cafeteria on Oct. 20. Vice Principal Josie Perez served as mistress of ceremonies, while second grade teacher Trudy Cantu and GT Specialist Lupita Allen, co-sponsors, conducted the ceremony. Students learned about important concepts such as public service and the democratic process, as well as making important and meaningful contributions to Leon Valley and the community. Numerous parents, friends and relatives attended the ceremony.
