Taft Robotics teams places fifth in region

The Taft HS JETS (Junior Engineering and Technology Society) team placed fifth overall at the Texas BEST Regional Robotics competition. The competition includes teams from Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico with 48 teams competing at the regional area. Taft was also recognized with third place in the prestigious Elegant Design Award, which judges each robot on innovative engineering elements. Team members and advisors include:
