The 2009 Brandeis Bronco Football team finished the season with a state quarter-final appearance and a 12-2 record, a new San Antonio area record for a second-year program. The Broncos bowed out of the play-offs in the 4th round of the Texas 5A Division II play-offs with a 14-7 loss to New Braunfels. Their only other loss of the season occurred the first week of District 28-5A play against eventual district champion, Clark High School. Numerous Bronco football players received post-season honors to include 14 all-district selections, four Express-News All-Area awards, and two AP All-State honors.
