Congratulations to Northside School District's 178 campus first year and veteran educators of the year for the 2009-10 school year.

These individuals will be recognized at a special ceremony in their honor beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Brandeis High School auditorium. Because of such high attendance, the event has been split over three nights:

• First Year Elementary Educators of the Year - Tuesday, March 9
• Veteran Elementary Educators of the Year - Wednesday, March 10
• All Secondary Educators of the Year - Thursday, March 11

The District Educators of the Year will be announced each evening.

"To be honored as an Educator of the Year is such a tremendous accomplishment in Northside," Superintendent John Folks said. "These are teachers who truly are passionate about helping children and serving the community, and they give more than 100 percent each and every day."
