To comply with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations, Northside ISD will offer free meals to children from June 10-July 10 (Monday through Thursday). Last summer, NISD served more than 75,000 meals in one month. This year, free meals are available at 16 schools for children who are 18 years or younger.

Statement from San Antonio Police Department: The San Antonio Police Department has concluded that the person responsible for the latest emailed threats upon San Antonio schools is, in fact, the same person responsible for past telephone threats from 2012 and 2013.
A threatening email was received by Northside ISD high schools this afternoon. The email was quickly referred to the San Antonio Police Department who say the email was sent from out-of-state.
Sixth, seventh and eighth grade choir students from 18 (of 19) middle schools will sing and dance together for the seventh annual “Together We Sing” performance, being held at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 3 at Paul Taylor Field House.
School Bond 2014 proposes to buy 129 new school buses at a cost of $15 million. Ninety two buses would replace aging buses and 37 buses would be added to the District’s 800-bus fleet.
