Northside School District will again participate in the National School Lunch Program which provides free and reduced-price meals for children from households with qualifying incomes. In addition, foster children who are the
legal responsibility to a welfare agency or court may also be eligible for benefits regardless of the income of the household since eligibility for the foster child is based on the child's income.

All NISD students may buy lunch for $1.75 at elementary schools and $2.00 at secondary schools. Breakfast may be purchased for .90¢ at all school levels. The reduced price is .40¢ for lunch and .30¢ for breakfast.

To receive free or reduced price meals for their children, individuals must complete an application and return it to the school or to NISD Child Nutrition Department, 7520 Mainland Dr., San Antonio, Texas 78250. For more information call 397-4517, Free & Reduced Lunch Program.
