Sixteen Northside students were selected to the Texas Music Educators Association All State Band, Choir, Orchestra, or Jazz Ensemble. This selection is the highest individual music award to be given a student participating in Texas public school music programs. Their selection to this honor culminates with the performance of each all state ensemble to be held in San Antonio at the Lila Cockrell Center during the TMEA state music conference, Feb. 11-14, 2009.
