Jay musician wins first place in San Antonio Symphony competition

Ryder Naymik, head drum major of the John Jay Mustang Band and principal clarinetist in the Mustang Wind Ensemble, was selected as the first place winner in the Winds Division of the annual San Antonio Symphony's "Future Stars" Concerto Competition. Ryder competed with musicians from throughout Texas for this award.
