O'Connor High School Ag students honored

O'Connor High School Agriculture students placed second in the Ag Mechanics Team Event at the state FFA competition. The winners had to complete a written test, set up row crop planters to specifications provided by the judges, wire electrical motors to resolve a mechanical problem, and cut rafters to meet specifications.

FFA develops student potential for leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural leadership activities. Leadership development events focus on creating situations for members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision-making, communication and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization.
