Students get perfect score on National Latin Exam

Eleven NISD students received a perfect score on the National Latin Exam, taken during the first week of March. More than 137,000 Latin students from the United States and 11 foreign countries (Australia, Mozambique, Canada, England, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Mexico, Bulgaria, China, and Guam) participated in the National Latin Exam. Of those, only 917 achieved a perfect score on the different levels of the exam.

Lauren Zook, a senior at Health Careers High School, is one of only eight students in the world to receive a perfect score on the exam four years in a row. Michelle Lin, also a Health Careers student, is one of only 19 students in the world to receive a perfect score three years in a row.
