School trustees voted to honor the District’s heritage by naming the “Bandera Road north area” elementary school after one of the 12 original rural schools that joined together in 1949 to create Northside ISD. Funded by School Bond 2007, Los Reyes Elementary will be the only school to open in 2012. It is located north on Bandera Road, outside Loop 1604 in the Triana subdivision.
