The Young Astronauts program is a privately sponsored, non-profit, educational organization established by the White House to develop and deliver high quality space science curriculum and materials to chapters formed by schools and community groups. The aim is to encourage students to study science, mathematics, technology, and related subjects. This year-long program includes discussion groups, stargazing, and hands-on experiences with flight and space exploration.
