Supervised Agriculture Experience Project |
Responsibility, dedication, and plain hard work are the keys to a successful livestock project. Students enrolled in Agricultural Science courses are required to maintain a Supervised Agriculture Experience Project, which includes raising a livestock animal, or other type of agriculture production. These projects include swine, lambs, goats, rabbits, chickens and turkeys, and beef cattle.O'Connor High School is privileged to have state-of-the-art facilities available for members to house their projects. Each animal project requires a varying degree of financial responsibility. Students and parents should be advised by an agricultural science teacher before deciding on and selecting a project.
