Technical Theatre 1 (9-12) Technical Theatre I is a project based class within the theatrical arts curriculum at the high school level focusing on the design process, construction and implementation of the various technical aspects of a production. Studentslearn lighting basics, audio design, effective make-up application, construction techniques, as well as costume design and construction. Students desiring to excel in skills related to technical theatre are welcome to participate in activities occurring outside the academic school day. No prior theatre experience is required to be eligible for this course. PR: None SEM : 2 CR: 1 |
Technical Theatre 2, 3, 4 (10-12) These courses are a continuation of Technical Theatre I in which students assume a leadership role in the design and construction of elements required for theatrical productions such as lighting, sound, scenic elements, properties, and costumes.
