Our class is hosting a leaf exchange project with 12 other classrooms around the country.  Each classroom is responsible for collecting leaves indigenous to their region, as well as information about their state.  Classroom teachers mail out their leaves to everyone on our list until everyone has received all of their leaves.  We are then going to make a class book of leaves to commemorate our project.  The kids are going to be very excited to "check the mail" everyday.
