Using
the MY
STORY REPORT Connection Worksheet, tell us about your story.
- Use a shoe box to make a diorama of one
part of your book. Write the title, the author, and the illustrator
somewhere on the diorama.
- Draw a picture of your favorite part
of the book. On the picture, write the title, the author, the illustrator,
and one or two sentences telling about your picture.
- Use the STORY WEB Connection Worksheet
to tell us about the setting, main characters, problem, and the solution
of your story.
- Make an ABC book. Write the title, the
name of the author,and
the illustrator on the cover of your book. Draw one thing about the story
or the characters for each letter of the alphabet.
- Draw-and-Tell a Flip Book of the
important things that happened in your book in the order in which they
happened. On the front cover of the book, write the title, the author’s
name, and the illustrator’s name.
- Make a sock puppet of the most
important character (main character) in the story. Attach the title of the
book, the author’s name, and illustrator’s name to the puppet.
- Write a different ending for your
story. Tell the title of your book, the author, and the illustrator.
- Make a book jacket showing something
about your book that would make other people want to read it. On the front
of the book jacket, put the title, the author and the illustrator of the
book.
- Using the BOOK REPORT Connection Worksheet, tell us about your
book.
- For your Animal Information Book,use the K-W-L
Connection Worksheet and tell us what you already know about the
animal, what you want to know about this animal, and what you
learned about this animal.

- Create a Word document and write the
title, the author, and illustrator of your book. Write one good sentence
telling about your book. Add a graphic which relates to your book.
- Create a Power Point with at least 4
slides about your book. On the first slide, tell the title, the author’s
name, and the illustrator’s name.
