· Using KidPix, Publisher, or other software, design and make a bookmark for your book. On the bookmark, write the title of the book, the author, and include some picture or graphic which relates to the book. Print the bookmark to show your teacher and perhaps give to a friend.

· Using KidPix or Publisher, create a business card for a character or person in your book. What does this person do which could be turned into a business? (Example: The Pig who built his house of bricks could be a brick-layer who puts brick on houses.) Use creative fonts and graphics when making the card.

· Using KidPix or Microsoft Word, design a poster advertising your book. Include the title of the book and the author. Be sure to use eye-catching color, fonts, and graphics.

· Using Inspiration, create a WORD WEB with one word you don't know from your book. Write the new word in the center and out from it write (1)the meaning of the word from the dictionary, (2)a sentence from the book with this word in it, and (3)your own original sentence using this word.

· Using WorldBook Online, find 5 additional facts about the topic of your non-fiction book.

· Using Inspiration, create a graphic organizer for the characters in your book. Include at least 2 things the book tells you about each character.

· Using PUZZLEMAKER, make a wordsearch with 10 important words from your book.
