Woodrow Halstead III

Maj. Woodrow Halstead III, '90, Pillar of Caring. As a Deputy Staff Judge Advocate for the U.S. Army Reserves, Major Halstead will be taking leave from a posting in Afghanistan to be recognized at the NISD/NEF Pillar Banquet 9/7. With degrees from Texas A&M University and St. Mary's Law School, Major Halstead was an Asst. Criminal District Attorney in Bexar County for ten years. His current civilian job is to represent wounded warriors in the military Disability Evaluation System. His military decorations include the Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. He attended Pat Neff Middle School and Marshall High School in NISD.
