Criteria
Instructional Skills.
As evidenced by their skills in developing and presenting curriculum that results
in high achievement for students.
Interaction with Students.
As evidenced by their effectiveness in managing a classroom/learning environment
and their ability to interact with and engage students in learning.
Communication Skills.
As evidenced by their effective communication with parents, faculty, staff
and community members.
Distinguishing Characteristics
As evidenced by comparison with other past or present first-year educators
in the district, and in consideration of those characteristics that distinguish
them as the most outstanding. Service to campus, district or community that
goes "above and beyond" traditional duties.
