Our campus has several options
for
integrating technology lessons that cover the required technology TEKS.
Technology Integration lessons need to include technology skills and/or
applications required for middle school by TEA. To earn an “Exceeds” for your
technology lessons, provide the lesson plans and include the technology TEKS
addressed in the lesson. You may turn your lesson plan in to the CIT, Librarian,
or Administrator
for documentation. Below are the options for completing your technology lesson
at Rayburn.
Connected Tech- online
technology textbook that provides search links by content area or technology
application. Lesson plans, materials, and TEKS
connection are provided for each lesson.
Net trekker- Online database for lessons and
research materials. A Readability score is listed for lessons.
(Many other databases are available on our Library web
site).
United Streaming – Online sources for lessons,
videos, and images – good addition to other lessons.
CMS
Lesson Materials-
District resource for lesson posting and sharing
TIPPA- Technology Integration Project Planning and Assessment. This is a technology integration site put
together by instructional specialists, teachers, and CITs.
The site provides lesson plans, rubrics, TEKS
connections, and student engagement strategies
Rayburn
Teachers of Technology- Site created by previous Rayburn CIT with lesson done by veteran
Rayburn teachers
Textbook site – Many textbook companies are providing online resources for lessons. If
you select a textbook lesson, then make sure the lesson you use for technology
integration requires the students to create a product using the computer. (Google for your textbook)
