Planning
Planning is important for the success of a technology integration lesson. If you wish to include the CIT in your planning process and lesson please allow for meeting times prior to the day of the lesson and be clear about your expectations and needs. The steps below will make the lesson a productive learning experience for the students.

1. Complete the Middle School Lesson Plan. The lesson plan is linked to our web site, the districts TIPPA web site, and in the Rayburn teacher hand book. When the lesson plan is complete save a copy to your H:drive and email a copy to the CIT. If you would like the CIT’s help with the lesson plan and instructions please set up a planning meeting at least a week in advance of your reservation.
2. Complete your seating charts for each class you take to the lab. As with your own classroom students tend to listen better when in a seating chart designed by a professional educator?. A seating chart will also help identify any rule violations that may occur in the lab. PDF forms of the lab seating charts may be found linked to the lab numbers above.
3. Print out a current AUP report from gradebook for each class and staple the report to the seating chart. Any student that does not have an AUP must be provided and alternate assignment by the classroom teacher. (To get to the AUP report in grade2 go to reports- Crystal reports-AUP status-All students and print the report for each class).
