.....The Social Services Program serves students enrolled full-time at the Nellie Reddix Center, or part-time Reddix/part-time HS campus, and other assigned NISD schools designated by the NISD Special Education Directors.

.....Ofelia Longoria, Special Education Case Manager/Social Worker assists students and their families in accessing and using health and social services. Student and family services are provided at:

ARD's
staffings
home/campus/office visits
community & school outreach functions

.....Case management services include:

phone consultation
referral and/or provision of resource material
coordination
follow-up

.....Other services include:

group home & day program tours
educational/support groups
liaison between school and community agencies

.....To facilitate procurement of services and enhance the student's quality of life, close interdisciplinary collaboration with school personnel and networking with community agencies is important in successfully integrating school, home, and community resources for students and their families.
