The San Antonio Express News has issued a call for help for underprivileged children. They have 10 children- 5 boys and 5 girls- who will not receive gifts this holiday season without help from caring boys and girls like you. Your class has collected $500 from change at lunch all year and you've been given the responsibility to buy for the 10 kids. You have been given permission to use the computers at school to shop online and have the gifts delivered to school. Before you actually "buy" you must submit your budget worksheet showing how you plan to spend the money. Remember, you must buy for every child, use as much of the money as possible, and you need to figure in all shipping cost, etc.

Use this worksheet to help you keep track of what you have purchased.

Helping people in need exemplifies "Caring" one of the Northside ISD's Pillars of Character. To do so without expecting any recognition or glory is even more honorable. Develop your own plan to deliver these gifts without being discovered and enjoy the thrill of "secret" giving.
