Explain briefly: Students are using multiple sources to analyze different
types of poetry. After applying what they have learned they are developing their
own poetry using the appropriate poetry framework. Using a wide variety of intelligence and
learning style choices, students are presenting
their own created poetry and evaluating their own work as well as that of
their peers. |

Lesson Implementation |
[kt5]Instructional Strategies: |

3.
After they have
created their own poems, students will develop a powerpoint presentation using
a variety of both required and optional learning styles and intelligences |
4.
Before submitting
their presentation, students will evaluate their product both holistically
and against a rubric. |
5.
During the presentations,
students will evaluate the work of their peers holistically. |
6.
(Optional) Students
who finish early can design and make a CD label and burn the presentation on to a CD. |
