Whearas the
following acts were passed upon us without our agreement: The Stamp Act The Sugar Act The Townsend Acts The Intolerable Acts We, the people of the Colonies of North America, do solemnly propose a Boston Tea Party to express our displeasure.

Step 1: The Setup Your friends are outraged. Another act against the colonies has just been passed. There is growing discontent among those up and down the coast. You can not sit by any longer without doing something. Thus as a patriot, you are asked to pen the proclamation above, describing in detail the acts against the colonies, the call to help "make a statement" with the "Tea Party," and finally to persuade other colonists to protest these unjust laws. To do this, you will choose to produce either a flyer, a newspaper or a powerpoint to educate and call your peers "to arms.
