High School Accelerated Instruction & EOC and TAKS Test Preparation

Again this summer, Accelerated Instruction will be offered for NISD students who failed an EOC test this spring. Once EOC test scores are received from the Texas Education Agency (TEA), students will be contacted by their high school and told whether they need to attend Accelerated Instruction. It is also expected that students will retest in July.

Students must take Accelerated Instruction at their home high school campus.

Transportation will be provided to the home high school from the closest elementary school. Transportation also will be provided from the home high school to Marshall High School for students also attending Summer School. All transportation arrangements should be made through the home high school.

Accelerated Instruction will be held June 12 to July 3 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EOC retesting will also take place at each high school campus July 8 -12. Transportation will also be arranged through the high school. More information will be posted after test scores are received from TEA.
