College Preparation |
Senior Seminar |
The Senior Seminar class offers the students the opportunity to explore eight strands that will help prepare them for their academic future. Students complete their college applications and apply for financial aid and scholarships as part of the class. All seniors in the Academy are required to complete a Senior Project and a Presentation of Learning. The projects will allow students to delve deeply into a project that truly matters to them and that allows them to tap into their talents and skills. The Project is an experience that allows the students to use a vast array of skills they have acquired throughout their education. This provides the students an opportunity to design and carry out a personally meaningful educational program. Students can fulfill this requirement by participating in Science Fair, History Fair, ISM (Independent Study Mentorship), the ACE Mentor Program (architectural and engineering mentor program), or an approved student selected project. |
