ATLAS is a coordinated staff development initiative
for our secondary vice-principals, academic deans, and assistant
principals.
Program Goals
Support administrators in their current roles.
Provide opportunities to meet other administrators and network.
Provide opportunities to build relationships with central office
staff.
Become knowledgeable of and participate in various models of
staff development.
Experience effective staff development using brain compatible
strategies (i.e. - music, climate, changing learner states,
team building, group
work, individual work, reflection, and application).
Prepare participants for the role of instructional leaders/principals.
Provide topics that reflect current needs assessments,
match assessment center criteria, and address the administrator
evaluation instrument.
